Welcome to my Web Home.
I am a artist in geeks clothing. Hey, that sounds weird, but its true. I am a computer hobbyist, I dig gardening, cooking and eating (which is like multi-tasking, right?), hiking, mountain biking, music and photography. I'm happily married and have a great family. I am lucky to have wonderful friends! "Home is where the heart is" .
For
the past 25 years I have been a station member at WWUH, The University of
Hartford's public alternative radio station. I host a show there called "The
Greatest Show from Earth" (teltan.org).
I love electronic music and listen to everything from Classical to Death Metal.
My main instrument is the bass. I like to "feel" my music and ride
the wave. I
also play guitar and synthesizer. My biggest musical influence has been
Brian Eno. My
favorite band is
Porcupine Tree followed closely by Connecticut's own
Mile Marker Zero. I don't think I
have ever been so impressed with a group of musicians before. MMZ is where progressive metal
meets classic rock. Sprinkle with elements of fusion and classical influence
and you have one incredible sound. Great vocals and lyrics,
which by the way you can actually understand, ripping guitar lines, tasteful
keyboard orchestration and a solid rhythm section.
BiaXident is yet another
fantastic rock band from the Nutmeg State that needs to be heard... LOUD!
